Life Changing

And we all who with unveiled faces reflect (as in a mirror) the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into His likeness, with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord who is the Spirit. (2 Corin 3:18)

This verse is both humbling and astounding. Have you ever seen the video clip of an infant transforming into a toddler, then to a child, then to a young adult, then finally to an elderly person? Imagine looking into a mirror and watching you—your countenance—being transformed daily to the likeness of Christ Jesus.
How I would love to rush that transformation so that I could reflect His goodness in all situations, His kindness toward the unlovable, His mercy toward the hurting, and His boundless love.

  1. Interesting mental image pertaining to that verse. I would like to rush that transformation just to see if I am transforming. Sometimes I feel like I’m going nowhere fast. And by the way, just because there are no responses sometimes, doesn’t mean that no one is reading. Keep up the inspiring work, your doing a great job. Look in the mirror.
